Understanding your responsibilities and commitments as a Host
When a Host cancels a booking, Guests may lose more than just space—they may lose sales opportunities, staffing arrangements, and marketing investments. For this reason, Retailpeer holds Hosts to a high standard of reliability.
By accepting a booking through the Retailpeer platform, the Host enters into a binding agreement to provide the reserved space for the full duration of the booking, subject only to the limited exceptions outlined below.
If a Host cancels a confirmed booking:
The Guest will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, including Retailpeer service fees.
The refund will be processed promptly to the original payment method.
Guests will not be penalized for Host-initiated cancellations.
Host account may be affected depending on the circumstances.
Repeated cancellations can lead to reduced visibility or removal from Retailpeer.
Retailpeer understands that emergencies happen. Penalties may be waived if a cancellation is due to verified safety issues, legal restrictions, or serious emergencies outside your control.
