What is the Retailpeer Service Fee?

The Retailpeer service fee helps support the operation and maintenance of the Retailpeer marketplace. This fee allows us to provide a secure, reliable platform that connects Guests and Hosts, processes payments, and supports bookings from start to finish.

Retailpeer charges service fees to help cover costs related to technology infrastructure, payment processing, customer support, and ongoing platform improvements.

How the Service Fee Works

  • Retailpeer service fees may apply to both Guests and Hosts, depending on the booking.

  • Guest service fees range from 15% to 20% of the booking subtotal and are added to the booking total at checkout.

  • Host service fees are 15% of the booking subtotal and are deducted from Host payouts after a booking is completed.

When Is the Service Fee Charged?

  • Guest service fees are charged at the time of booking confirmation.

  • Host service fees are deducted before payouts are issued.

All applicable service fees are clearly displayed before a booking is confirmed.

Are Service Fees Refundable?

In most cases, Retailpeer service fees are non-refundable, even if a booking is canceled. This is because service fees cover operational costs incurred when a booking is processed.

In limited cases—such as a Host-initiated cancellation or where required by law—service fees may be refunded.

Retailpeer operates as a marketplace and does not charge subscription fees to list or browse spaces. Service fees allow us to:

Retailpeer is committed to transparency. Service fees typically range between 15% and 20%, depending on the booking amount. All service fees are clearly shown before you complete a booking, so there are no surprises.
